hobbygodz Posted April 11, 2010 Report Share Posted April 11, 2010 I am particularly amused by the way my endler males often flare up and swim backwards and forwards quite rapidly. It just doesn't look right! Guppies have long been referred to as the "million fish" according to Wikipedia, though I've not heard it (prolly need to get out more!). Guppies are found around the world in at least 54 countries according to Fishbase. Wow! They were introduced into streams in most of these countries for the purpose of mosquito control and in nearly all cases they had a negative effect on the existing ecosystems........now where have I heard that before?
