GeraldtonWA
I have decommissioned a tank and would like to clean the calcium off the glass. Any advice about how to do this safely would be appreciated. I was thinking of using vinegar. I am concerned about contaminating the tank. Thanks
Massive
White vinegar and elbow grease has worked in the past for me and as long as you wash it out it should be ok! Just be careful if you have silicon in the tank as the vinegar may start eating away at it if it soaks in there too long... Also if its a glass tank you could use a flat razor blade from a utility knife to scrape off big bits before the vinegar. Good luck Bill
