davo
Do you mean the bonus ones Matt? I can but I don't have enough of it in stock...
Matt_95
No, the trail ones, would it be possible to get them with 20 000k ones were the 6500K ones are? Or is that too much of a hassle?
davo
Hey Matt Yes we can do that But... it might appear too blueish if I do that. I'll just experiment with it a little bit more when the LEDs gets here... On other news your Bonus LEDs are nearly done... I have to just solder them and join them together and everything should be set. Will post pictures/videos soon. The ETA for delivery is 30th September 2012... so it'll be coming soon folks, thanks for your patience.

davo
Hi again all Ok the bonus component has now been completed. Please find below your Bonus LEDs And also the bonus LEDs in action. This is a 60cm tank housing my F. Gardneri (Gold) This is only one strip in action and as you can see it is more then enough light to my recommendation. HMPK
is there a switch to turn it on and off or do we have to unplug it
davo
Hi All No there won't be a switch to turn it on/off. If you need a switch I do suggest you just get a quad adapter with switches on it.
shadoh
I plan on putting mine on a timer. I am always forgetting to switch lights on and off at their designated times We are getting these at an amazing price. If bought directly from eBay, we would have had to do the assembly ourselves. Davo is putting a lot of time and effort in making sure this experiment runs as smoothly as possible by making sure those (such as myself) who are DIY challenged don't have a thing to worry about. I'm more than happy to take them as they come :D

Mrsash
Got a 4 ft tank. How much would it cost me and how long would it need to be? thanks
davo
For a 4ft tank it works differently. 1 strip will not be able to do. All my 4ft tanks has the following 90cm LED strips: 4x LED 6500K 1x LED UV 400nm strip The above will be laid in serial. But in parallel it will be 90*5 = 450cm Power consumption is 16.2Wph Total cost is around $100. LEDs will last for 20,000 hours. With this you would be able to grow HM max but for HC or other light loving plants I normally have 6x 6500k and 2x UV. But I am also getting 453nm strips...from my understanding these strips are the prime wavelengths for plant growth but since I haven't seen it for myself it will still be on as an alpha test meaning that I will test it for myself for about 6 months to see if it claims what it says it does. SAF
Hi Davo, Can you make these to fix a cube tank of 30cm ? I would love to test these as well.
davo
Hi All. Just another quick update.. The manufacturer advised me that there was some issues earlier whereby they were not getting the 20000K in there test and because of this the LEDs was rejected as it did not pass QA. But alas it has now passed and it is now being shipped to Australia as we speak. Very excited to get it early next week and will post photos :)

davo
Yeah I can do that as per the below specs: For a 4ft tank it works differently. 1 strip will not be able to do. Otherwise you are more then welcome to come and pickup the bonus LED strip that I made so you can play around with it.
