CNgo2006
Hi all, I was just wondering is there a minimum size or age if you want to show your betta at the comps?
melbournebetta
Yes, there is - it depends on what set of rules the show is being held under - for example the minimum body size for IBC is a bit bigger than the Victoria Betta group's table shows. This is because we are only a small club working towards the big-league - you can find our specific table show rules here: http://www.victoriab...able-shows.html The site states: "The IBC standard dictates that fish should measure from mouth to the base of the tail 30mm, we ask that you bring fish measuring at least 25mm (2.5 cm) from nose to the base of the caudal to ensure fish are sufficiently grown-out to judge."
