briztoon
Well I finally have him home. My first ever Aquabid Betta. Due to the marble gene in him, he's changed a little, a bit more red wash in him. It will be interesting to see how he changes as he grows. Oh, and he's small. He definitely needs do some growing up. And someone sourced me a nice steel blue female to mate him to. Some one went and bought the blue dragon female I had my eye, ggrrrrr. OK photo time. The missus. briztoon
Thanks for the comments guys. I like my fish to have room. I just can't do the small tank thing. I have four 30cm cubes for the fancy boys and two 2 footers for the wilds. Eventually I'll have another 2 footer as a female sorority tank. I also have a couple of small tubs and couple of large tubs for breeding, growing out fry and jarring bain marie style in winter. I just have to find some large jars that I like. I really have to make some tank dividers so the bettas can't see each other, and buy a mirror or photographing males flaring.
