SiameseFightingFist
I've already got too much moss in the tank! Joan, I might take you up on that offer if I come around to check out your tanks.
SiameseFightingFist
Here's the father and one of his kids from the first generation of eggs, having a meal together: You can see a blurry shot of a bristlenose fry from the second generation of eggs in the lower right hand corner. Congrats! Whatever you're doing, you're doing it right. You must have some happy fish I'm not so sure, I lost a few of my bettas over the past few months, I don't know why they're getting sick when all the other fish are thriving. SiameseFightingFist
gave a whole heap away as there were just too many for my tank space Great job though, at least it means they're happy little fish Thanks, were they easy to give away? It doesn't look like they're going to stop breeding.
SiameseFightingFist
1. Saw some cory eggs in the tank this week. They're gone, not sure if they survived but obviously somebody's been laying more eggs. 2. It's becoming clear the bristlenose couple have had three generations of fry because I can see more small ones swimming around. 3. The little panda baby I saw earlier in the week is still around but very elusive. It's the little dark thing on the gravel towards the right of the photo, with a larger pepper cory to the top left: Two of these three are the parents: This pepper was hanging out with the baby panda: Edited September 23, 2012 by SiameseFightingFist
SiameseFightingFist
Two generations of bristlenose fry. The big one is one of the first generation, the smaller one is the second .. or third .. generation, I think. Or maybe the bigger one is the second generation. Either way I'm screwed. melbournebetta
James, This is fantastic - and don't fret, it's a good problem, you can always bring the fish to an ASV meet (Thursday Sept 27th actually) or another fish meet - I'm sur the LFS would take on any donations too. Brilliant shots too - needless to say! What a happy tank

SiameseFightingFist
I would have to tear my tank apart if I was to catch them though. I'm not looking forward to that, it's going to be a huge job.
SiameseFightingFist
Panda panda & panda. I guess the different cory types do school with their own types. I see the pandas do that more often than the other corys.

SiameseFightingFist
Too many. Out of the first lot, only about 4 survived. Out of the second lot, way more than 4 survived. Out of the third lot, that was when I stopped trying to count 'em.
