Wild Nut
This is one of three males I got today. The others were settling into their new home, but this male is so stunning I couldn't resist. He is from Interbettas, and came with a matching female. I am either going to be crossing him with her or my super blue HMPK female from someone. Probably try his missus first time around. (His new home. He is living next door to my blue marble HM male and bi-colour PK male and no my house isn't crooked haha) Unfortunately one of my recent purchases has developed a nasty tumor on his head. Hopefully, I still get at least a year with him. It's sad as he is one of my favourites. I am such a bad fish mother. My fish go from their bags, plop into their new tank, get some food and then ignored until the next day. One of my new males got stuck under the spraybar dripper and was like "ARGH! I'm drowning...I'm...d.r.o.w.n.i.n.g!" Then he realised he could just swim out of the current I swear bettas are mildly intellectually challenged at times. forever_and_a_day
argh so pretty! is this the boy you showed me on your computer when i came over to your place? and bettas are a bit more than 'mildly intellectually challenged'... they're of very questionable intellect xD
Lilly
I love the few almost flurescent(spelling?) orange scales on his cheek/infront of his gills in the first picture. Really stunning fish- and I love your set-up! :)
