Fletch
I had this feeding into my tank via a airline. The end was plugged into the intake for my canister filter. Worked fine for a while and today i noticed lots of bubbles suspended half way down the hose. Obviously the flow had dropped and wasn't enough to pull them through. So tank not getting any co2 and filter pump not running efficiently. So, fixed canister filter and now hooked line in base of internal filter. It belches bubbles every 30 sec, sometimes lots, sometime not so much. My question is, looking at the video, are the bubbles fine enough to be dissolved into the water? http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/ee433/ottobusman/orchids/956061b1.mp4
Pyrefly
I don't think feeding C02 into canister filters really works Busman Paul. Unless the bubbles are dissolving instantly, you're essentially feeding gas bubbles into the loop and breaking the siphon. My understanding of it anyway. Try placing it where the outtake flows into the tank maybe?
Matt_95
I'll see if I have a spare ceramic diffuser for you. I think I have two. I agree with Sarah and I think it damages the impeller, not 100% though.
PeachSlices
you want the bubbles to stay in the water the longest so i would get a ceramic diffuser and place it at the bottom of the tank under the spray bar so the co2 can circulate i dunno its what i'd do.
