Pyrefly
My line of thought went something like.. Hey thats a big shrimp.. .. what a funny colour it is.. ....... wait.. Why does it have three tails? Its always funny when someone else finds something creepy and unintentional in their fish tanks, so thought I'd share this happy fella I found in my shrimp tank today - Damselfly larvae I believe. I'm actually kind of fascinated now its fished out. It swims like a fish, side to side thrashing! Would *love* to know how something as big as a damselfly creeps into my living room to lay eggs.. Hunting for more, just in case! Edited June 7, 2011 by Pyrefly

Yanagi
My theory is they come in on plants as teeny tiny larve. One nearly wiped out an entire betta spawn of mine. *shudder* KILL IT WITH FIIIIIIIIIRRRREEEEEEEE
Pyrefly
I had a good look, but couldnt find any more. Pulling the tank apart again in a few weeks so should flush any out then. I certainly see no damage to the RCS population! The goldies had fun chasing it down in the end. My boy Biff says BURRRRRRP! Revenge is sweet.
