ads
i have a number of small sections of PVC pipes that make perfect tubes for fish to hide in. These have previously been used in fish tanks before hand.. i was wondering on wether this would be safe for betta fry in a fry tank?
Neffy
I have them in my spawn tank, great for the females to hide in. No ill effects for my fish havent had any fry in there yet but they dont worry me at all !

Fletch
Wouldn't bother. Good for adults but i don't think the fry will care. Big bunch of Java moss much better. IMO. Edited May 17, 2011 by Busman
shadoh
I can't see a problem in using them. Especially if they've been proved safe with other fish. As Busman said above, I can't see a need to use it for fry. A bunch of live plants would provide better cover for any shy fry. It would, however, be ideal to use for the female to hide in while in the spawn tank
forever_and_a_day
should be safe. I use it in my community tank and my angel sleeps in there ^-^
