JUNGLE
I was lucky to be at Aquaristic when some wild caught killies were released from quarantine. I grabbed a scoop of each variety because, although young fish, there were patterns and colours I had not seen. Anyone into killies might want to get there soon for a look. Bettarazzi
I wish I had room for killies. Hopefully they'll still be in the hobby when I'm ready.
KillieOrCory
Bettarazzi: Hope you'll have space for killies at some stage I am struggling with space too I already have eggs of Epiplatys sp. AMAR11 The other two are a little too young, though they are feeding well. Edited March 31, 2011 by KillieOrCory

melbournebetta
Hey -- just curious, what's the philosophy with wild-caught fish? Is there a limit, or are the waters teaming? -curiousNess
Cm7
Here is a vid of the Chromaphyosemion sp. from Aquaristic.
KillieOrCory
Cm7 the vid is great! Congrats on the fry! Melbournebetta: because killifish are not one of this that there is a huge demand, there is not too much pressure on them from over fishing. always a possibility though! Though because some have very restricted distribution they are more threatened by habitat degradation nag distruction as well as human urban development. There are some that are endangered or extinct because there are roads or cities built over where they were found!
