BettaObsessed
I just saw my first giant bettas I have to quite redundantly say Wow they're big! And agro too. I saw one that was flaring and charging at dwarf gouramis and they were female bettas. Would have loved to bring one home but I feared for the safety of my other girls. BettaObsessed
When this one was nipping at the dwarf gouramis I wasn't game. She had the most beautiful colouring though. I also figured I couldn't breed her with a normal sized male so she'd just sit in the tank causing trouble :D
melbournebetta
The giants are so exciting, although I haven't seen one in the flesh.... was this at a LFS ?
BettaObsessed
Yes, the had 3 females. All royal blue with red wash. Very nice looking fish. The had been separated so I don't know if they think they are males or if they were getting a little rough with each other. Usually that shop keeps all the females in one tank. BettaObsessed
Aquarium One in Dixon Rd, Rockingham. I was in there today and they still have at least one female in there. Wasn't looking for fish in there today so didn't take much notice.
