shadoh
I've just been doing some web searching looking for examples of the direction I want to take my multicolour marble line/s to. The crazier the patterns, the better! Some examples... I know it is not to everyones taste, but it is what I like!
Fletch
After watching the massive variation and change to individual fish that you have just had, I am considering going down that path with my next pair. Got my hands full at present though.
Sarah
I've seen those photos before! I like the second & last best. I myself love the wild colours, although those fish would often be classed as "mutts". Breed whatever you like, and have fun! :D
shadoh
Although colourwise, they would be mutts, I would concentrate on getting perfect finnage.
Fletch
You may only get a few top quality fish each spawn but wow on those fish. Completely unique. That in itself is special.

Sarah
I've seen that first one before HERE, you can see it in someone's link. They are all so beautiful! I can't pick a favourite... I adore the CT's though! Jarrod, is there going to be more additions to your family soon? ;)

Yanagi
All of my spawn of marble x solid gave me all cellophanes, minus one who was given away because I didn't like him. I am forever scarred by this.

shadoh
I'd love to get something similar with coppers. Perhaps a copper x jewel box outcross...
GoldenGirl13
That last fish is stunning have to admit, not so keen on the Koi, but that's just me. Just wish I was in a position to do more than look at photos of the fish you breed or are thinking of investing in may have to talk to husband about moving to big island I can just imagine the fish I'd be able to have (sighs dreamily and gazes into distance...husband reading over shoulder again nice while it lasted husbands!!) Ah well, have fun with the spawn and please feel free to post lots of photos when the time comes... I've found my glasses!! Nanna B)
Sarah
Perhaps a copper x jewel box outcross... Sounds very nice. What would they be called? Just be persistent about it Jo, I've always wanted a dog and when I realized I wanted a Cavalier to be my dog.. I asked DAILY, researched, put information on how cool they are on dad's bed, etc, etc.. it took five years (at least) flat out, but now I have my very own dog. I got a Cavoodle though, I decided a poodle-cross would help with their problems (such as overbites, hips, etc) and keep them non-shedding. Miley hasn't shed 1 fur yet, she is nearly three. Sydney is nice by the way, you'll like it. :)
GoldenGirl13
Love Cavoodles and Labradoodles!! want an Irish Wolfhound but Husband says no more dogs. When our current pound puppy (who is actually now 13!!) goes to that hunting ground in the sky that's it for dogs At least if I have more fish we don't have to make room in the boat when we go to the shack Oooh...the shack...if we move to Big Island then no more weekends at the shack...Hmmm....have to think a bit harder about this one....shhh, Nanna is thinking B)
Sarah
HAD to show this amazing Betta I found in an old topic. Absolutely STUNNING!!! I love the colours.. Amazing DT Edit: Turns out it is fake. I wish it were real.. I wish it were mine with a matching female. :( Edited February 25, 2011 by Sarah
BettaObsessed
I love the crazy coloured fish! Much more interesting than the plain single coloured ones.
shadoh
@ Sarah, yes, it is a shame he isn't real. I'd want a pair just like him for sure @ BettaObsessed, that's what attracted me to marbles in the first place, the wild colours and patterns and the fact that the fish you have may look like a new fish in a weeks time...A friend who bought a royal blue boy from me a month ago, sent me a photo today of her fish starting to marble... Before he was a solid royal blue. Now:
