zhong89
I found a cherry shrimp in my 2ft endler/bristlenose tank today but the thing is I didn't put it there! I have a small 15 litre shrimp tank dedicated for them and I don't normally try to scope them out or anything. So it's almost impossible for them to hitch a ride of my net. the only other way for it to get out is by walking up the wires for the heater or air hose and accidentally dropped in there (the shrimp is above the 2 ft tank but really about like 1 m difference). Does that happen to anyone else?
fishbites
if the shrimp get spooked they will flick their tails and can 'jump' quite a way doing that.... are their two tanks near each other?
Yanagi
I have seen ghost shrimp walk out of my community tank via the tiny hole for the cables and end up fried by my lights on the lids.. My cherries don't seem to go anywhere despite the open top tank.
zhong89
The shrimp tank has a cover glass and so does the 2ft tank. There's a distance of about 800 mm between the two tanks. The shrimp tank is on the top of the shelf and the 2 ft tank is on the bottom.
