briztoon Posted September 25, 2010 Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 G'day peoples. New to keeping bettas. I currently keep and breed a couple of Apistogramma and Laetacara species. Luckily for me (not so for my bank balance) I live clossish to LFS. So made my first betta purchase today, a pair of Betta smaragdina and a pair of Betta imbellis. The male imbellis won the Anabantids - Any Other Variety class at the Brisbane RNA last month. A few of us local Brisbanites met up at Fishchicks today, and I beat out another forum member here, Rod, to the smaragdina pair. Sorry no photos of the fish at the moment.
