Some scales are darker than others, some are lighter which I don't think I've seen before. Like I said too, he used to be more green that what he appears to be now. I really couldn't say. I guess I'm leaning more to a sort of metallic turquoise just because he does look green in some lights. I really hadn't planned on keeping him but he's sorta grown on me. Like a leech, or a bad rash you can't get rid of. Surely someone wants him? They can spoil him with a niiiice tank instead of his boring old hospital tank.
