  1. What's the name of that QLD based website that sells Aus native plants and fish???? :)

Aquagreen is in NT and they don't have much stock. Liverpool creek only sells plants but they have way more stock.

  3. I was just told that my 7cm bristlenose produces more waste and ammonia than my 15cm yabby, who has got to be 10 times his mass at the very least. All I can think is; what the? O_o

Invertabrates have a lower bioload than fish, BN also produce far more waste than your average fish :)

  4. Worried about all my fish/axies/etc - this morning next door used some sort of super-strong chemical in their backyard, which is literally 3ms away from my room... my room smells very chemically, even though I shut the window.. just hoping nothing dies.

My mum used some sorta spray to wipe down a bookshelf, killed every single one of my crabs, they are very suseptable to organic solvents.

They can even survive without water, I know someone who put some DW in a bucket with I water and the next morning he found the bristle nose in there... Wasn't even covered in water!

When you have medium lighting you need to keep nutrients and CO2 in balance or it leads to algae, I think my tanks are also deficiant in Ca and Mg since I use rain water.

They are copper based. I'm switching to EI dossing for the plants which will stop algae growth but not kill off this stuff I just need it for a little tidy up.

It's on eBay but the shipping is like $40 probably because it's so dangerous, I wonder if hair peroxide would be bad? I think it has other things in it....

I'm going to have to find some concentrated H2O2 so I can dose the whole tank, last holidays the heater got to hot and melted most plants resulting in algae, the canister is also really slow now and the lack of flow is making it worse, it was almost under control aswell :(
