    Hi Everyone

Welcome Catfish. Sounds like you had a great tank. Bet you have some nice Bettas now though. Hope you enjoy the forum.
  4. Is your kitten inside your snake???? Lol. Love your setup. Looks fantastic. You gained credibility in my books. Now, for the fish room. :-)
  5. I have seen a few pairs, mainly at Jodis. Most are as Shadoh said. Have seen a few clean white pairs including a pair of HM long fin. I almost bought them at the time. Wish I did.
  6. Why wait mate. What's one more tank. Do it......do it NOW.
  7. Funny that your "freebie" fish are the ones getting all the attention. Bonus. :-)
  8. Some fantastic fish you have mate. :-)
  9. Is there any way you can link them all and run it through a sump filter? Might be easier and save you a lot of time in the future if you do it before it gets out of hand. Good luck.
  10. Lol. I feel so much better now. My seven seems nothing now. My wife thinks I may have a problem and I need to talk to someone. I just use you as an example of people with a REAL problem. She does not see the funny side of this comment. Is your room still free Jarrod, I may need somewhere to stay, will bring my seven tanks though. Lol.
  11. I recall hearing those words before. :-). As long as you happy mate.
  12. I am not convinced its the fish you bought.
  13. Very nice mate. Shame about the dt but we can hopehe comes good. Love the look of both the PK though. Stunning.
  14. You got me wishing as well mate. They would be a good pair. Fingers crossed.
  15. Great looking fish. Has she finished changing yet? Love her markings. :-)
  16. What's the reactionwhen uncarded to another girl?......,.....another boy?? I would have thought girl.
  17. Guess the big question is what sort of fish are you stocking it with. If you have cichlids, they stir the gravel constantly with there digging. All large tanks I know have there wc done with a garden hose. Put one end in, turn tap on enough that water has a flow happening then pop it off the tap and it starts siphoning out itself. Undergravel filters are useless IMO. My biggest concern is that it will block up. I never worry about the gravel too much, if I get a bit if build up, next time cleaning, I stir the gravel with my fingers while holding the siphon hose.
  18. More praise is coming your way Yan. I love your tank. Keep the photos rolling please. Not so sure about the eel though. Lol. Sorry, no offense intended but you are all still a little crazy. If it wasn't for me, I don't think there would be any sane people on here.......
  19. YOUR ALL NUTS..........
  20. Happy Birthday Bev. Will have a toast for you......any excuse. :-)
  21. I wonder if you could do a bonsai (azalea as eg) and have that's raised on an island above the water level. That would be special. Like that last photo. I am in enough trouble talking about cichlid tank, now I am thinking something totally different. Thanks. Lol.
  22. Interesting the red in the first shot of the second lot. Even the wood looks red. :-)
  23. I really like your tank. Well done. I am a big believer in finding what fish/plants work for you and with what you have/willing to do. Best part of this is your tank changes so many times and eventually you get to the point you have a well stocked tank that looks after itself. :-).
  24. A couple of red devils maybe. Have seen them used as a schooling fish in a huge aquarium at Underwater World. Amazing. Please keep us posted as this experiment is very fascinating. Would love progressive picks. Good luck. Will be watching and waiting. :-) Ps. Any chance you can make a separate pond and try spawning some betta outside. Leave parents in and see what happens. Maybe a raised pond that overflow into main pond with friar water pumped up???
  25. Thanks Wayne. After talking it over with my wife, she has.....Sorry, I have decided I like my community tank as is. Lol. Do you think now is the time to tell her I bought ANOTHER Aqua One barracks today..........hhhhmmmmm maybe not. ROFL
