  1. Very nice. Good score. :-)
  2. I thought he "borrowed" a pair from Melbourne_HM????? Not sure who offered them just remember someone offered a pair of wilds that were always breeding. :-)
  3. Hope all goes well Razzi. Is this the pair you "borrowed"?
  4. Ok. Will see how I go. Three foot tank. 1 pleco. 3 bristlenose 2 royal whiptails 1 peppermint catfish 4 Siamese algae eaters 12 rummynose 12 neons 8 tetras (names ?) 4 scissortails 8 rosy barbs 12 female betta. Is this overstocked?? Lol
  5. Where are the swordtails??? That's an easy six.
  6. Not sure but I would love to see some photos. Never had any luck with rams. Keep us informed please and did I mention photos..... :-)
  7. Lol......@Matt. They are the route numbers. :-). If you not working we should be able to work something out.
  8. Catch the train heading to city. Get off at Cooparoo and catch 184 or 185 on Cav Rd heading towards Garden City. Do you know where to get off the bus? What time are you talking?
  9. Where can you get to Matt? I might be able to help but I would think I will catch up with Jarrod a bit earlier. We will leave from his house and head in. Can you get the bus to his house?
  10. Hey Issh, it's great we have had a few new/old members from Brissie return to/ join the site. We have a meeting very shortly being organized. Would love to see you there. :-)
  11. The whole trip looks like it was a great experience. I think we all appreciated your effort in putting it all together for us to read. Would love to do the same..... The one thing I loved about this forum was the willingness people shared info and helped each other. The lack of competition amongst members and even true joy in watching someone else's spawn. I think we are well on the way to a similar friendly betta breeding community. Share the Love People.
  12. Lol. Sounds like it already has mate.
  13. Roc.......mate, you make me feel so much better. Glad I am not the only one that is constantly pushing the wife to the limit. It drives her nuts. She still does my daily feeds of bbs and mw when I am at work so she has a bit more to give. Lol. I love her dearly. I don't know how she puts up with it really. As for entering comps here, we are all the same. It's works pretty well actually, almost all answers can be found here. Most of us have a strong point but have interests in other aspects of fishkeeping. I have always had cichlids but could keep a planted tank. All plants died and never had much luck. Through persistence and lots of $, I now thought I was getting ok at it. Since joining here, wow it's opened my eyes. Between Pritch and Matt and Neffy and, well almost everyone here, the options are endless. My tank looked a bit run of the mill against most. Still very proud of my tank, most people are impressed that see it but mine will never be as good as some. My efforts are more to breeding ATM. Don't be shy, enter everything and the feedback you get will help you. And as for your TV, fantastic. I have thought of this many times over the years but never had a crack.
  14. Great. More the merrier. Come on guys. Any one else??
  15. Will sign up to the IBC tonight. Let you know when (IF) I am approved. :-)
  16. Please not a Sunday. I lose my double time.......lol. As long as I have notice, I should be able to work it out. :-). Happy to join IBC and local club. Will talk to you Jarrod about it soon. :-)
  17. Would love to be able to participate in this. As I work every weekend, the time i can commit to helping actual shows/meets is limited (can get one or two off, just not all the time. ). Would be more than happy to help in any way i can. As for needing two new members, both Shadoh (Jarrod) and myself (Paul) would join tomorrow. Wow someone, that is a wonderful opportunity you present us, just to have your support/advice is fantastic.
  18. My red rockets were about a third bigger "around". My orchid girls in the barracks are like that as well. :-)
  19. I really like the boys dorsal. You need a flash or bright torch to catch the irids. He was my fav, Sarah. At least I know he went to a good home. :-) As for the girl, I have bigger. Lol
  20. They look good Sarah. Very hard to catch their real color and beauty in photos. Irids don't show up very well. They were beside each other and do seem compatable. They have been conditioned up as well. Good luck with them Sarah. :-)
  21. We have spoken at great length so you know my thoughts. More than happy to offer my time and services to help in any show or general meet and greet. :-).
  22. Wow. Thanks Ness. A great read. Wish I could do a trip like that. .
  23. Yep. You are right Razzi. Inside the shell is what the call "Mother of Pearl". Beautiful. Lots of these are found up north and the west coast. Great shots Ness. :-)
  24. Thats awesome. I mean you getting photos of it, not the act. Lol.
