I googled pygmaeus and got fish, mice and Orangutan. Lol. My biggest mystery is where did it come from? I would think it is a native species but what?? Can't wait to find out. Please keep us informed. :-)

If I could raise it (out of curiosity only) without too much hassle, I would. Even in a tiny container floating in the tank. At least you know what to feed him. Lol. :-)

Not sure it's the fish SFF has linked to, different whiskas??? Very interesting though. Will be interesting to find out where it came from and what it actually is.

I have it soaking in weak bleach solution with airpump connected. Still nothing. :-(

Can't blow air though it by mouth or hooked up to air pump. :-(

Bought glass diffuser for my DIY co2. Got the one recommended by someone. Hooked it up this morning and nothing. This is a fresh mix producing lots of bubbles. Waited 10 min and checked the bottle and lots of pressure built up in the bottle. Disconnected airline and lots of bubbles poured out of airline. Worried about bottle exploding. Pretty sure there is no leak as there was pressure built up. Have soaked diffuser in bleach/water and retried. Still nothing. Ideas?

Just ordered pee and dung so I guess it will arrive next week. :-)

I would treat it like a tank. Fill it, treat with dechlorinator and let the temp stabilize. Then use some sludge buster, I bought from an aquarium, it's basically a huge hit of good bacteria, then add my fish. I guess a week before adding fish? Would use the same principle with the pond as a tank, don't add too many fish at once. Add some, then wait a few weeks to add more. Just a guess really but it's what I would do. Can't wait to see photos. Can you please take one before you start then progression photos. Pleeeeease. :-). Good luck.

Photo speaks 1000 words. I use Seachem Flourish Comprehensive Supplement and DIY co2. Think I might have overdosed Seachem. Two new 10 000k 30w lights. Is this a deficiency or did I overdose?

In my community tank Ness. The tetras will die off before these guys reach breeding age. Will remove anything that gives em a hard time but they should be fine. :-)
