Didn't know it was an old school name, but I like it, it is very pretty. Haha.. I'm going to have to think of my own strain name though - don't want to take Jarrod's glory! I'm hoping tonight, maybe tomorrow.. I'm.. waiting on something. Yes, I usually use the other way around... but I happened to be holding this end so I thought I might as well. Haha, that makes me sound really lazy.. anyway I didn't think it would make much of a difference, I do like the other way better though, will use next time. :)

To be honest, I don't even pay attention to the moon for spawning my fish, I just put them in when I feel like it (and they feel like it). That's pretty interesting, just, why would that trigger them to spawn?

OK, so he is Royal Blue.. but a really cool one. B) Thanks for that The Paul. So if he wasn't marble, I would get 50% of Royal Blue & Turquoise because girlie (who needs a name, hint hint) is turquoise right? But since he is marble, can you tell, or do I just get a higher chance of blue marbles? Marbles are so confusing, and they haven't even spawned yet. Oh, and I er.. may have introduced them just to see what would happen, knew I wasn't supposed to (sorry).. but I couldn't resist, I just wanted to have a peak at how they would react.. and he has a nest now, female looks ready. OK... now I'm confused.. This is what Apache looks like, all angles, light or no light - Simple... looking sorta steel blue-ish right? UNTIL.. the flash hit him at the right (or maybe wrong) angle - Looking like he used to... but only in this photo? So what sort of blue is he? Ahhhh... and look at how green my Java Moss is! OK, OK... I just got it so it hasn't had a chance to go brown yet. AHHHHHH... I'm so slow in the mornings, I just got that! Yeah you better duck.. ( <-- me = ninja...).

'Lotl Love, Banana & Tenedor - Banana is much shorter, Tenedor isn't even stretched out. Dawwww.... Meanwhile.... You can see how this leg grew back deformed... it is really quite funny when he swims, I'll try & get a video when I can.

I'm sorry to hear about this Jo. Things happen.. but it is terrible. While I was away my black lace PK died, and so did Carnation, my only HM boy from someone. It wasn't my sister's fault.. but it still pretty sad. :bighug:

Just checked... the blue patches on his body are looking steel blue to me.. not turquoisey like they were before! Didn't think of that Paul, thanks, now you've made me super exited. Apache has decided to change a little, just before breeding him. This is what he looked like when I got him - ... and this photo was taken only a few minutes ago. Not the best quality, but still OK - He is just as beautiful in my eyes. ♥

Yeah, I was really worried about him, he looked so weak after he was out. This is why I check on everything before I go to bed, when I get up & through various times during the day.... you just never know..

Before I went to bed last night, I checked on all my fish & axies like usual, and Banana was still in the tree stump. He has gotten his head stuck in the little stand bit & couldn't get out. I had to put my hand in and push him out, while holding it upside down so he can swim out the other end. He looked really weak, and floppy... and I was afraid I had broken his leg. So I put him in a small tank, luckily today he looks a lot better, sitting upright, leg OK. Looks to be OK. I've taken the tree out.

Hehe, yeah he has always been shy. I'm starting to think he is a girl again, not because of the shy thing or anything like that.. just if he was male I thought his cloaca would be bigger by now. :confused:

Today I put Tenedor & Aristotle Axolotl in the big tank with Banana. As soon as they were acclimatizing, Banana disappeared. He has been missing all afternoon, but the other two axies are loving the freedom of the 400L, they were in like 20L. I had assumed he was just hiding in the clump of plants, until I happened to move the tree stump - Not the best pictures I know, it is in the corner of the tank and is hard to get a shot of him in it. Anyway, this was after he half fell out, but he was up at the top, curled in a ball like a puppy. That's Tenedor in the background by the way. ;)
