  1. Bastante is in a plastic tub for quarantine, so it's quite hard to take pictures, but here are a few decent-ish above photos. Shows his gorgeous almost-leopard-print colouring. Love him already! ♥
  2. Not a lotl, but I love her a .. lotl.. AND WHAT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR... Introducing Bastante! Terrible pics.. and I er, um.. forgot I had already taken them when I got him sorry! Better pics to come. ^ Gunk is broken down IAL just so you know. He has a chunk out of his tail. Looks like it has been bitten off, and is growing back from the bottom - Bastante is in quarantine at the moment, and has already decided he lovesss to eat worms. He was on gravel in the LFS, but I haven't seen any pieces passed out yet, so hopefully he wasn't on it long enough.
  3. Thanks Spanger. Well a few more bad-quality pics to share, but I know we all love photos.... sooo... Banana & Tenedor - ^ Tenedor is eating sand.. More to come. :)
  4. Eek! Poor little marshmellow! What are you going to name this little naughty?
  5. Glad it works, that's the same colour as my new little guy. It's really wildtype, but is just a different variation on it, which is being called copper.
  6. Sorry! I'll try to snap some. He looks like this. Hoping that pic will work for you. :)
  7. Yes, seems every morning there are new tracks for me to follow! That could be it! Better keep an eye on a certain axie. Last shot - You are all probably waiting for photos of my new addition, Bastante, yes? Shall be coming soon! (soon as tomorrow hopefully).
  8. Haha, thanks Sarah. Wanted to show you all the adorable little 'lotl footprints I get in the sand - Notice in the top back corner there is a blank part, with a big drag next to it. I think the filter has a bit of a current there, and it keeps the sand axie-footprint-free.. not sure what the drag is.. unless Tenedor has been dragging Banana around! Oh, hello handsome! Here Banana stood like this for a full 20mins (least that I noticed). Pretty cute. Gosh I love these axolotls!
  9. Love this face. I had found a grub, and Banana was in the middle of swallowing it as I snapped this shot - Here he reminds me of some old man hunching over his food - Tenedor is quite the photo hog - Still more to come.
  10. Yes sir! Caught Tenedor, in this position... eating the sand. Oh wells, that's why I have sand - not lodgeable in their belly.
  11. So I don't think there will be bubs. The axies aren't acting all lovey-dovey, so maybe next time. WELL, thought I'll post a few pics - More pics to come. .... annnndddd.... I have a new axie! I saw this little guy in a LFS today, and HAD to have. I don't really like this LFS to be honest, but I saw.. and did not have the restraint to leave; nor did I want the restraint. His name is Bastante, which is Spanish for pretty. He is a wild type, but the most gorgeous colour variation, some call it copper. (that's not him though).
  12. They look great Paul, they will love them! Funny thing is.. I had a dream last night about this thread, and it's tanks. There were new tank scapes, and pretty fish swimming in them. ... Oh gosh, I think I need to get away from this forum more!!!! .... nah...
  13. All I can say is GORGEOUS!!!! I'm loving this tank! Hope you feel better soon Yan. x
  14. Haha, thanks Jarrod.. don't fall off! Females normally lay within two days, but can take up to three weeks, max.
  15. Found a delightful surprise in my axie tank last night... I counted 6 axolotl sperms! Not quite sure which male they were from, but I have my suspicions *looks at Sonriente*. Now just to wait to see if Tenedor picked any up! :D
  16. Ah yea - that's it Spanger!
  17. Tenedor has moved back in with the boys, and has settled in. They are great friends, yet not quite signs of breeding yet. Maybe after the next waterchange. Tenedor loves the sand, and has been walking all over it. Plump with eggs! Banana - Sonriente doing some sort of weird sit-up thing.
  18. Entire right arm numb... been in the axolotl tank, shoulder deep, for the past 10mins.. feeding them. Their tank is a freezing 11*C. Brrrr.

  19. YES OF COARSE I WILL stay a Betta lover, not move onto goldfish... not my thing.. Sir Wiggle Bum is cute though.
  20. He looks happy! You know, for a goldfish... I kinda like him.. for a goldfish...
  21. A lovely thought - if my bedroom were a giant fishtank, it would hold 4517L. Oh what I could fit in that!

Unicorns of the sea... I like it!

  22. Hehe, yeah, when I was feeding them worms, I'm in the tank shoulder deep, while holding the camera with the other hand. Hence the to and fro! Thanks Paul, Sonriente seems fine thankfully. :)
  23. That's it - I need to play with the audio!
  24. He seems fine though! Past month or so, he has really settled in from getting him - before he wouldn't eat. He still only eats live worms though. Yeah you would have - so stop laughing. <_<
  25. I think it will! Oi, I was pretty shocked. There was blood too, but it didn't come up in the vid. Stop laughing, you would have screamed.
