  1. Are you ASKING for a ninja beating?
  2. Ooohhh.... threatening. Haha, you'll get axies. Anyway, when mine breed (because they will eventually), I'll send you up like 100 eggies. No escaping them, try as you might. *Mwhahahahaha*
  3. Haha, about time! No point really, you know I'll win.
  4. I know that, that's why I told you! I'm pretty sure I said something about it on the phone as well, although not positive on that. I definitely did tell you elsewhere. I was kinda hoping for a duel! That would be fun................. for me. :giggle:
  5. Yes! I told you they had a growth spurt yesterday. What am I going to do with you, Dory? Or what?
  6. Ooh... busted... haha. What do you mean the first time you've seen them? I sent you photos the day I got them! Remember? You were away, and asked for tiny pics so you didn't have much to download... you were all like they're so cute... I have to start calling you Dory, so forgetful.
  7. Thanks Kertaz! All axolotls tend to appear super smiley! It's one of the reasons I love them.
  8. Haha, thanks Les! Bloodworms and small earthworms. Hehe, Hambriento really pigged out before I took the pics - he generally isn't all-tummy!
  9. Happy birthday! Hope you have a wonderful day. :))

  10. Crikey! An international! Ridgy Didge - not often we get somebody from Up Over (because we're living in Down Under). G'day mate, a big warm welcome from our Sunburnt Country! 'Grats on the spawn, sound like you have a good father Betta there. Sometimes males do seem to eat the eggs/fry, hopefully won't happen this time around.
  11. GROWTH SPURT! Lindo = 9cms. Hambriento = 5cms. They're growing up so fast!
  12. Nice profile pic! :D

  13. Ah, shame. True, I don't know if I'd be able to give up my axies and other fish.... Why thankyou, you just made my day. :)
  14. Thankyou! I try to look after them well, they seem happy and healthy enough! Haha, thanks.. but I don't think you'll be giving up your fish anytime soon. ;)
  15. Ooh, lovely! You can use the covers of plastic display folders, cut them to size. They work well - just make sure you chop off the holes, I've had a girl damage herself on them before.
  16. Happy Birthday!

  17. IAL, Indian Almond Leaves, are often added to Betta tanks, they seem to have an anti-bacterial property's, stain the water a tea colour (which makes it look natural, in my opinion... the Bettas seem to like it). It also makes the water "stickier", and helps bubblenests to stay together. Did you thoroughly wash the gravel before use? It could be debris from the gravel.
  18. Naw, sorry to hear about the jumper, Shadoh. :(
  19. Thanks Paul & Jarrod! They are both super cute. Lindo is a little more interactive than Hambriento, Hambriento is the shy one who runs to hide when you come over. I can never catch Lindo's colour on camera, s/he is a gorgeous lemony/lemon meringue. Lindo is also twice the size as Hambriento. Getting a bit of a belly!
  20. Hehe, thanks Les. Six axolotls now. Adults - Tenedor - leucistic Sonriente - melanoid Feliz - copper Banana - golden albino Little 'lotls - Hambriento - wild type Lindo - copper I took some photos of the little 'lotls, I'll upload them soon. :)
  21. Anytime. Aquarium Cooling. I take the lids of the tank, and lots of frozen water bottles! I've heard that bubblewrap/foam around the tank helps, might try that this year. Already the temp is starting to rise the axie tank.. bah..
