He'd never be classed as HM no matter what his spread, as he has the rounded edges. If you had a HM female, you'd have a good chance of getting some. I thought you said you weren't allowed to breed your Bettas. Has this changed?

No, I didn't resize it in photobucket. I did it in photoshop, but you could probably use paint. You could just copy the pic from my album and save to your computer, then upload to your photobucket account...

If it gets too hard, I'm happy to host the pic for you...

Looks like frog bit to me too. I have a piece floating in all my jars, the juvies love to blow nests under it. Also got it in my spawn tank. That is the reason I had problems removing the dragon female. The male had built little nests under random clumps of plant Are the leaves thick and a little spongy looking underneath?

Sorry Paul, I can't fault him. He is perfect in my eyes. If I was pressed, I would say that his anal is slightly too long, but not by much. A blue dragon female would be a perfect choice!

The combtail boy has blown a huge bubble nest. Won't be long until Busman gets a spawn out of him Ness, the second one in normal daylight you can't see the red in his fins and is a black copper. with him, I will try and remove the red in future generations. The first one with the red and matching girl are going to Busman. I can't see him wanting to remove the red, but will leave it up to him to discuss further. All the coppers we bought from Adam are ventral less, but not a prob as it is not genetic...

They are great fish. The 1st guy and the female paired with him settled in straight away. He started displaying and colouring up and she coloured up with breeding stripes and started showing off to him. All this within the first 5 minutes. The rest took an hour or more to colour up and settle in, but all happy! When the first boy is at full flare he seems to be a full 180 deg The blue in the combtails body is a blue irid over a dark body. Great pics there Yan. The coppers are beautiful!!! My coppers from Kermadum arrive soon. I can't wait!!! Your dragon boy is nice too I wouldn't have been able to resist his charms either... As for the black patches on the cello, I know what you are going through. None of my cellos stayed clean. Would be nice if it was a clearly defined pattern and not look like they rolled in the dirt (mine, anyway...)

Abby, the new tank looks great! I bet your boys are happy to have all that space and fresh filtered water!
