I saw the what was possibly the wierdest looking fish ever at my not-so-local fishshop today. They were called "cave tetras" and they were these huge, pale white looking things which had NO EYES! They were very other-worldly and a little bit creepy looking. They never bumped into anything as they swam though, which was quite fasinating to watch.

They're from underground caves in mexico (I think?) where the lived in pure darkness, so over time they lost their eyes. They're pretty cool but they get terrified any time a hand is put into their tank.

Can't say I blame them! Do they use electromagnetism or detection of water pressure to find their way around or do they just use their sense of smell?

I believe it's water pressure and sense of smell.
