my fry has such big difference in size... What am I doing wrong?

fry that eat more grow bigger and the ones that eat less will tend to stay smaller, the bigger fry will also release hormones in the water which also prevents smaller fry to grow, which is why water changes are necessary

It's pretty much normal. Half my fry were twice the size of the others. I fished the bigger ones out and put them in their own tank. Didn't take long for most of the smaller ones to grow...

It is a pretty typical rule of thumb with most fry as you grow them out, that you will find the males typically grow faster than the females too.
