itll all boil down to the personality of the fish, my females are agressive so i need a large number (about 8-10) to evenly distribute bullying even with a pecking order my girls always flare and chase each other, fins always have nips but they dont bully each other to death. Ive had girls that will always attack smaller bettas and nothing but seperating will work. I think you will need more plants you might find one of the girls will bully the other if theres not many spots to hide so watch them, then just divide the tank and keep one on each side if it doesnt work out. or they could get on great. its hard to tell. The LFS girls could help and they would cycle the tank while u wait but without much plant cover could be pointless. A week is plenty of time for one to shred the others fins.

it doesnt have to be glass that just for easy viewing and a surface for food you could cut plastic to size instead to fit the container you have with a lid.

No other ones have died, it could be age but she was absolutly fine b4 and spawned with male.

How long ago since the spawn??? maybe she sustained an internal injury?

Very pretty congratulations ! you have great parents id be a little wary of that fake plant with those fins it just has lots of edges he could get a snag on.

Welcome Congrats on getting a spawn! You can strain and rinse BBS but a little bit of salt is good anyways (aquarium salt not table salt) it helps with stress and to build a slime coat keeping fry on microworms isnt the best they arnt very nutritional

yea ill give it a shot i only have about 10-12 since they are so small it doesnt make a large school so more would be soo adorable
! I think all i have to worry about is them eating eggs they dont care for them. -

Haha nah they are very much gone, i set them back up because she looks full of eggs still and shes already jumped out to play chasey.

Oh I'm so sorry. At least you have a pair that will spawn. Sometimes males can be egg-eaters for the first time, hopefully the male will look after them this time. GOOD LUCK!!!
